Perth’s NDIS Accommodation & SIL Provider
Spearhead Supports is the provider of choice for your accommodation needs. We assist participants in independently choosing - or discussing with their personal support network - their home and living objectives as part of their planning conversation. The plan of the participant can also include the support that NDIS can fund as well as the support that the participant will need to access through the accommodation facilities. This is where we would intervene as the NDIS Accommodation & Supported Independent Living provider for participants living in Perth.
As an NDIS accommodation and SIL provider, we look after the daily living costs, including rent, utilities, groceries, internet, or telephone and other household bills. The same goes for general household items like refrigerator, cooking utensils, appliances, bed, wardrobe, and the like. However, there are certain limited circumstances, where the NDIS may contribute to these expenses, and it is the responsibility of our experts to manage these expenses while extending the housing and daily activity assistance.
What Support Do We Provide?
The support we offer include:
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Our desire is to empower individuals living with a disability to:
At Spearhead Supports, we assist the participants to live independently in a property of their choice. This can be a shared space, a home or a facility. Our support workers will offer support with tasks such as activities of daily living, travel assistance, community participation, and more. With the help of this service, the individual can live with dignity and independently.
Individualised Living Options (ILO)
The individualised living option (ILO) is where the participants can choose the home they want to live in and be provided the support that suits them the best. It gives the participants the liberty to choose the home they want to stay in and set up the supports in a way that will suit the individual’s needs. An ILO is a package of support that helps the Participant live the way they want to, in a home environment of their choice.
Short Term Accommodation (STA) or Respite
This is another accommodation we offer: NDIS funds up to 28 days of STA per year. You can use your short-term accommodation funding flexibly. For example, you might want to use it in a block of up to 14 days at a time or for one weekend a month. The choice is yours.
Medium Term Accommodation
This is a longer version of the short-term accommodation, where the participant can stay for up to 90 days.
